Sanatan Dharma 

In general Sanatan is considered as a religion(Dharma) but in actual it is about how a human being should live his/her life. Sanatan Dharma is the oldest most dharma in this world. Some times people think what does word Sanatan stand for? Sanatan means the one which exists from the beginning of human life, which can't be destroyed and which will remain forever till the end of human life. All the religions Hindu, Buddhist, Jain, etc are branches of Sanatan dharma.

ORIGINATION OF SANATAN DHARMA

Some people say that Sanatan Dharma originated by Lord Krishna when Lord Krishna spoke about Shrimad Bhagwat-Gita to Arjuna during Mahabharata ( one of the most popular epic of India), but it's not true. This statement can be overruled by saying that during lord Krishna's childhood they went to gurukul from where they got the knowledge of Sanatan Dharma that means from where those saints came to know about? So where did Sanatan exist in the past?

Similarly by saying that Lord Ram was behind the formation of Sanatan Dharma will also be wrong as they also took spiritual and intellectual knowledge from guru Vishwa Mitra. Now the question exists that does these saints have to form it? Answer for it is also no, although these people must have converted and created many Upanishads, dharmik granths like Purans, Mahabharata, Ramayana, Upanishads, etc they were not behind the formation of Sanatan Dharma. Now most of you know about Vedas as I feel but still for the sake of knowledge we have 4 Vedas namely Yajurveda, Atheravada, Samaveda, and Ayurveda which is the base foundation of Sanatan, and they were here from the start of human life on this planet. Everything written in these Vedas is the only and complete truth. These Vedas and their wisdom are the reason that after so many attacks and slavery our culture is still alive and people maintaining their root.

Myths about Sanatan dharma

Although with time different sages transformed this knowledge in their own words and that how so many holy books came into existence. But during this communicational transformation as they write it in their own language meaning are somehow starts changing over a period of time. Now people start understanding these as per there knowledge and understanding and speeding in and around. And today as we all can see there are so many misconceptions about Sanatan Dharma. But believe me Sanatan in the only way for peace and spirituality. It does not talk about the body of any human being but to find your self as an achetan man (soul).

Today we said a slogan that we are " Vishwa Guru". But believe me there was a time when India was known as a country of scientific knowledge and wisdom. People came from across the world to know about their culture and our culture. Our sages and maharishis had so much wisdom and divine powers they convey the world about their culture. India was the country which was not defined or influenced by the manes of kings or leader but by these self-meditated peoples which we called sages or maharishi. The definition given by them was that "the land between the northern Himalayas to the south sea is known as Bharat and its children are Bhartiya (Indians) irrespective of their diversities whether it is based on education, cast, color or work".
