Meaning of namaste in depth

 Hello everyone, welcome to my new blog.

As everyone knows that Santan was the oldest religion with oldest scriptures and its knowledge is today guiding the world, But with time different people interpret its knowledge the way they wanted it, and nowadays people use these points as a weapon against Sanatan dharma to defame and degrade it.

Recently I was listening to a program of Muslim scholars named Jakir Naik. He is one of the leading scholar in Muslim community. There in the question-answer session one of the non-Muslim basically a Hindu told him namaste and asked a question. To this Jakir Naik asked this person a counter-question whether he knows the meaning of namaste, this person had no idea then this scholar told him that the meaning of namaste is that "I am bow down to you". And said do you wanna bow down to me?

This is why I wanted to tell everyone that the meaning of namaste is much deeper than we think. It is not about the same, in the way it is written and I will prove it by the reference of Bhagwat Geeta with a proper quote for your understanding.

In Bhagwat Geeta chapter 10, sloka no. 20,  Arjuna asked Lord Krishna to tell him about the truth of lord Krishna about Krishna's Vibhuti (greatness, power).

अहमात्मा गुडाकेश सर्वभूताशयस्थितः ।

अहमादिश्च मध्यं च भूतानामन्त एव च ||

Lord Krishna says, O Arjuna (Gudakesha was one of the 10 names of Arjuna), I am the one who lives in every human entities. I am the beginning, middle and end of every living beings.

Further more, lord Krishna added about his vibhuties  in chapter number 10 slogan number 22.

वेदानां सामवेदोऽस्मि देवानामस्मि वासवः ।

इंद्रियाणां मनश्चास्मि भूतानामस्मि चेतना ||

Among the Vedas I am Samveda, Indra among all the celestial gods, among all the senses I am mind and amongst all the living beings I am the consciousness.

In this sloka lord Krishna clears very well that the energy that driving human beings over the living beings is lord Krishna itself and this body that we are carry is just a temporary costume for that energy. When this costume gets dirty or our body gets weekend and is not anymore carriable than this energy just replaces or transforms into a new shape or new body.

Hence in Sanatan Dharma when we say namaste to someone that doesn't mean that we are going to bow down to that person but to that energy that driving the body and that energy is the supreme power.

Let's explore now  in scientific way "meaning of Namaste".

Namaste

Past 2 years were most scary and difficult time for whole human race when we were in trap of corona virus. Lots of people lost their lives. At that critical time people starts following all the traditional Hindu activities and avoid being in contact with others, when they came back home first thing they do is to bath and wash clothes just like we do when came back after attending any funeral.

In Hinduism Namaste has no physical contact. We simply club our palms together and bow. How thought fully our Ancestors have created everything. It is the only civilisation that still alive.

Do not let people like Zakir Naik brainwash you or others, in every religion they focus to read on their scriptures or religious books but we Hindus just cut off from our roots and feeling shame reading scriptures for religious books, but but until and unless we read our scriptures we are not able to counter such questions and this lack of knowledge will depress a more.

Talking about me then whenever I get time I used to listen Bhagwat Geeta online. Today we are living in world where social media is such a powerful platform that if we wish we could use it to enhance any skill, to enhance knowledge in any field very easily so rather wasting time on unproductive social activities, it is better for you to use this time to gain knowledge.
