Sushant Singh Rajput suicide news:  Actor’s death comes just barely a week after his former manager Disha Salian committed suicide last Monday by jumping off the 14th floor of her apartment in Mumbai.

Mumbai: Noted Bollywood actor and television star Sushant Singh Rajput reportedly committed suicide on Sunday. As per the preliminary investigation, he was found hanging at his Bandra residence.

His demise came as a shock to many as this is the fourth death of a famous personality from the Hindi film industry to pass away in the past two months, after Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor succumbed to cancer and Wajid Khan from the Sajid-Wajid duo fell prey to the coronavirus pandemic.

Condolences poured in from all quarters for the highly-talented actor who won several awards for his roles in movies like M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, PK, and Kedarnath.

“I can’t believe this at all... it’s shocking... a beautiful actor and a good friend... it’s disheartening #RestInPeace my friend #SushantSinghRajput. Strength to the family and friends,” actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui said.
